The upper arm is 1/4 head longer than the lower arm. You have it backwards in the forth drawing, that's if he has an elbow at all. I do like your backlit lighting.

It has a full range of colors and yellow doesn't go to dark green, it goes to dark...

Here's a tip I use when drawing a symmetrical shape, use a folded in half piece of paper and draw half the shape on it. Open it up and transfer the image.

Color is everything. Mix your darks, instead of using black pigment use the correct complements.
