Thank you :D
I don't know how to get rid of the big attached image! I uploaded it smaller but its still there! Sorry!
So I played around with it, it still feels too linear, I don't know what to do in the background. Any suggestions:
You're right, it feels really, flat. I just don't know what I can do to improve it, thumbs will probably be a good place to start though, but I've looked at it so much I don't know how to go about...
So, I wanted do paint this piece, but I'm kind of, well stuck. So help on how I can approach this piece, because generally I feel really overwhelmed, as well as how to make it an actual over all...
Nice brush work, keep working hard, and try to get the head count right, ie, 6-7 heads for a woman, those kind of things will keep the form correct.
Your work is very clean, I think this is a little bit of a hindrance in some places ( in others works beautifully ) I would say, be scruffy, get down gestures and do quick pieces, you don't need to...
Thank you both!
Her joints make no sense, her one leg, the one that is bent, is so close to the camera, its such a warped perspective.
The skin colour is very flat, theres no real sense of light and with the...
I don't get the point in her armor, why on EARTH would she show off her arse. I think that while its all "design" style, be realistic. Its just not going to happen and its quite insulting, if you...
Am I the only one bothered by his arms? Have you got a reference for this?
@Tinybird, I'll play with the lighting on the shirt in the evening, and see if that helps. As for the leg, I'm going to fiddle around, maybe make a 3D Model of it and try to understand it a little...
I've already spent over a week working on it, I can't keep not finishing pieces, its not actually helping me. So no, I have to learn from my mistakes and apply it to new work.
Damn it! Yeah, is there anyway I can salvage it without re-drawing it entirely, do you think?
I got a little feedback, and I've moved the foot around, thoughts?
Are you sure? I feel the angle is wrong? I know I need to add some texture and some wrinkles, but I feel like it looks, wrong.
Hello again! I've gotten stuck on the feet of the image, I'm fairly confident with everything, but I'm really bad at legs, well feet particularly. Could I get some advice please?
I was going to help, but honestly. You are getting SO MUCH help. I can't wait to see it when you've tried them out.
His legs are, somewhat out of proportion, or at least it feels that way. Its also very angular, and the cloth doesn't have that feel, so it all looks very flat, very rigid and very confusing to the...
I can't figure out whats going on after the sword, also his hand seems to be really quite tiny, unless its some distorted perspective that I just haven't figured out. If theres a fire at his knees,...
I agree with Chas, right now, the dimensions are a bit crazy. I can't tell how big the room is, because right now it looks really squished and tiny!
( while I say I don't understand, I don't mean the texture. I mean the volume, there is A LOT of hair but her fringe also takes up a lot of space, I don't know how it would be possible to achieve. )
I really like the waist, I'm a little bit curious about the skin, its not very, well, nice. Its very muddy, it also looks like around the collar you've guessed a little.
A also don't understand...
P.s I flipped it over for ease, I'm left handed.
