Compositionally not so great, but I like the texture and idea behind this one:
A bird flew into my window at night and left a tremendous impression on...
I like your analogy of the run-down parts of town, but to describe my feelings towards the "clutteredness" of the forum, i'd use the imagery of a cosy coffeeshop with an "at ease" atmosphere where...
A forum for challenges would be good, but I think separating the "albums" from the "general photo stuffzz" is a bit pedantic since this board isn't exactly hopping with activity.
I think you're misinterpreting "Hasn't he taken the picture yet? My facial muscles are getting tired!" as "I am devious!".
I disagree, 1 doesn't look natural at all. Number 4 is the best! (Could do with adjusting the levels though). Or 8.
I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to demonstrate what I would do to improve...
Hehe yeah. I've been taking lots of photos, just haven't posted them here.
no one responded so i deleted the contents of this thread in a sulk
Here's another example. I had always really liked this photo, but now I see that the colour palette was completely washed out before, and that it was actually pretty blurred.
I've - perhaps somewhat stubbornly - stuck to Photoshop 7 for a while now, asking myself "what could be so great about photoshop cs, that I can't already do with photoshop 7??"
Then I saw this...
Film is pretty
The girl's face isn't lit very well in the first two pictures of her (the third one is good). Maybe you could bring something reflective to provide light in natural environments.
it's a vaguely duck-faced alien dressed in a human suit
Some of them I have posted, but I went to Belgium and Vienna recently and I haven't posted any photographs from there.
(Yeah my name isn't really Bill.)
Do you guys ever print your digital photography? I highly recommend it. Your pictures really come to life, when they enter the real world.
I've printed about a hundred photographs at a fujifilm...
Wow someone deleted my latest post? It was a valid point.
I'm out of this communist nightmare, bye.
I see little to no artistic value in these pictures. For one thing, if you're limiting yourself to a camera phone, you cannot be creative with exposure and thus you cannot claim that the various...
I like both Apfe's and drgutman's entries very much.
Samsite, i like it. There's some nice light and shadows, all over the scene. There's some interesting geometric tonal contrasts in there (eg the bus's design, and the lettering on the ground) -...
Wow, some gems in this batch. I love the last one and the third-last one. Did you set up some sort of lighting beforehand? What's the light source? They're nicely lit/exposed.
I don't know what...
I'd like to release some of my best photographs from their digital prison!
Anybody got any experience with these kiosks?
Which are the best ones? Or are they all generally bad in terms of...
Aha thank you Flip. I knew there had to be an easy solution
I don't know if it's something I inadvertantly did, but now my colour sampler tool in photoshop samples as the SECONDARY colour (see RED in my attached image) instead of the colour that is in use.
That is awesome. Did you set up the shot at all, or did you just find it like that?
