Update, I worked on the dress to make it look a bit better, I have done other improvements here and there.

I agree with the comments above, get a ref for the horse part or whatever it is. Not really for the anatomy but for the pose. Right now it look flat and it looks like he s gonna fall.
It looks good, but that mech doesn't look strong enough, you have to think a bit about the combative power of that thing, how would it move? What weapons does it have?

Update, fixed, most major structural problems with the head (hopefully). Tried also to work on the design a bit. I kinda want to render it very well and add some glow etc but I feel it d be a waste...
Draw from life: People, lots and lots and lots of people. Draw them in the train, in the bus, in the restaurant, everywhere :).
