This is a great sketchbook - working my way through it!
been a long time since any update. Here are a few sketches. Thanks for having a look!
very cool sketches. I especially like the turban girl on the right.
ditto Ludic. . .
wow, just wow.
Holy Crap those are awesome!! Love the rainy gloom of the second one and the Lava Prawn of Power is ridiculous!
Wow man! That looks great!
love love love what you do with these oils. .. your economy is amazing. Great effect for a small amount of brush strokes!
that little space ship thingy rules.
love your rendering style, very crisp.
Beautiful stuff. The forest thief/rogue is a real standout to me. Might have been a round about piece but I think its better for it. Love the lighting and color in it.
I'd love to see a tutorial on these. do you do any 3D models of weapons?
cool update man! I'm gonna love to see this thread develop!
Thanks a lot guys.
P_sage: glad you guessed it! mission accomplished.
Moondoodles: thanks for dropping by man, loved your stuff. I'll see about getting the color better, its a constant struggle.
love WWII stuff and love these nextgen guns. You should do some of the other common ones. MP40, MG42, etc. Cool stuff!
Your sketchbook is today's favorite! Really awesome character design here, not sure if you've heard that before. ..
love the red light on the green and blue girl above. Beautiful.
been a while but I'm finishing up with my job before getting ready to become a full time teacher. I'm hoping to have more time for new stuff in the coming weeks.

absolutely first rate environments!! And, I love that you say "ya'll". I'm from South Carolina and fee like whenever I type ya'll that it comes across as a hillbilly! I say it anyway.
Oh wow man!! The characters are absolutely top notch! Love the Red Rider one, that is fantastic. And the last dragon/gargoyle is very cool too. Looks almost like a watercolor underpainting with...
Wow man, love your style and linework. The characters are all great and your rendering is top notch.
some more sketch pages. ..
an abandoned overly generic Thudarr the Barbarian redesign, some figure sketches, a head that I based the last sketch paint portrait on (I need to get back on that), and...
Love this whole sketchbook. But, most of all I love reading your thoughts in the recent step by step on composition/posing. Really great stuff, helpful and insightful. Thanks a lot, seriously.
Everyday I find a new sketchbook that is my favorite, yours is today's favorite!!
I really like that concept, that it can walk but also fold up its legs for rolling along. cool
I love every bit of what you've posted! You should be so proud of this work. I could see any of it as Dreamworks concept art. Beautiful!
