My EOW entry for this week
Finished, hopefully I'll have enough time to finish off the IDOW now :)
The squalid alleys where the homeless children live often arouse the suspicion of the enforcers, but they never find any of...
Wow guys, they're all really good this week, It's hard to decide :)
My vote is going to have to go to Blindlynx, I think there are some here that have been executed a little better, but Blindlynx...
@Mikus - It's good to know that I'm not the only one who finishes an FZD video thinking "this concept art thing is a piece of cake", before getting a nice big dose of reality after opening photoshop...
Mine is getting pretty close to finished, but i have to design the robot protector before finishing it off :)
Looking very moody so far guys, can't wait to see these develop.
I have done some thumb nails, I chose the first one... before I even finished the 3rd one :)
Thanks for the comment Vulgar, I can see the 'Doom' comparison now that you mention it, I had a firm vision of the movie 'Aliens' in my head when I started the details, the two IP's have very similar...
Thanks Dennis, I hit 28 this year and realized that I kind of don't like my job... That's why I've been drawing so much, I'm furiously saving money to go to FZD school in about 2 years and study...

Hi guys, I figured out a method of creating a perspective grid in photoshop that is incredibly fast and easy.
I'm using CS6, so I can't confirm if this will work in older versions.
Anyway, I hope...
And an update.
Wow Aissa, that looks awesome!
Thanks blindlynx, I don't mean to alarm you, but your android factory appears to be mass producing Magneto!
There simply aren't enough X-men to stop this.
Thanks Aissa, Yours is looking awesome, I love the colours and liquid tube concept. Just a small critique, my eye is getting led off the top of the image, maybe some foreground element at the top...
YAY, I've been itching to do some Sci-Fi environments, this is a perfect excuse and an excellent topic.
WIP so far :)
This is my Tomb of Horrors EOW that I didn't have time to finish.
Maybe I'll tidy it up some time, but I want to give the android factory a shot.
@semperEadem - Thank you for the kind words :)
@mindinart - Thank you, the last picture owes it's mood to A Game Of Thrones, the haunted forest beyond the wall >:)
Oh balls hahaha I didn't read the first line of the post and thought that those two pics he posted were his XD
yep... listen to tiny bird, don't get a tablet yet, it's all about the practice.
You also mentioned that you are exclusively using pencil and paper, I know that only a crappy tradesman would blame his tools, but perhaps investing in a tablet and getting some digital software...
Straw man? I thought the question was...
Regardless, real skills do take a lifetime to acquire because life is not a video game, you don't suddenly level up and put skill points into 'drawing...
