Very cool. Looks like a regal beast.
Hi everyone. I made a video tutorial for casting a detailed sculpture in gummy. Thought ya'll might like it.
Damn, that guy is shaping up to be Scary Dude of the Year. Brilliant stuff. Fantastic inspiration folder fodder.
Fantastic. Well deserved accolades!
Wow, that's pretty gusty to get into that much detail before you've blocked out the proportions and major forms.
Got some good promise. Where'd you get that ribbed wire?
So much goodness. And so much frustration that you don't have BIGGER PICTURES to save in my inspiration folder! I grab what I can from the forums, but I'm still missing a bunch. :(
Your snail kicks ass! ...slowly.
It's amazing to me that considering how good you were when I first started following your work 4 years ago you are still improving. I'm so jealous you get to sculpt all day!
Very nicely done! Super clean and well proportioned. But I gotta say, even though I'm not a comic book geek, even I know this is a total violation of Batman's character! He doesn't kill people,...
I can see how much work you've put into this guy! Which makes it a real shame that it's on such a crappy hunk of wood. Especially a square piece! Why not round at least? And in the future I'd...
Wow... starting with life-size, huh? This is madness!
Regardless, looks like a great start. The head on the female strikes me as too large.
Well it looks great from this angle. Post some other angles. Do you have any other work?
That's really good for a second sculpt. Neat concept. I'd do some cloth studies, just take a sheet and drape it like the sculpt has it. That will be your best feeback.
That head is phenomenal.
My advice is always to start small. Don't make your very first project a guy battling a dragon on a collapsing castle. So many people want to do that. Start by making small faces, hands, and...
That's a nice look'n bunch there. Keep up the good work. And how come you don't have your live sculpting on Wednesday nights anymore? :(
That's a lot of fantastic work there! Can you tell us about the "fur" on the lion and reindeer? It looks like you are actually embedding real furry stuff in there. Is that something that castilene...
This is truly an awe-inspiring piece of work! So many different materials and processes involved. Please do post some of those progress shots you mentioned.
The second piece is about 10 times better than the first. Keep it up!
Fantastic work here. I love the base and the way the ground is getting disrupted. One thing that might help would be a little more uneven grass tone/color and length.
Very impressive work!
These are pretty rad.
That Primal Rage monster is SO cool!
