Can definitely see the improvement! Studies are certainly helping. Inspirational and can really see your determination through your drawings.
Try and avoid too many scribbles/lines and focus on form using as little lines as possible to describe the subject matter. That should push you in the right direction to building your drawing skills
I'm currently working as an accountant but hope to break through one day! haha. Sounds like I'm in a similar boat to others here!
Like it was mentioned in this sketchbook, your values are sick! Definitely your main strength. Your figure drawings aren't too bad either! Please keep posting!
This is just beast! Love the variations in texture and strokes that you use to create your forms
Love your car concept designs, they seem to be your strongest pieces. Some oddities with proportions of the figures though, especially the hand in the first one in post #30, seems very small...
I like the first one, you created form very well around the face.
The arm in post 2 seems awkward though, as in the wrist area where it bends. Doesn't seem to read well to me comparatively to...
Man, last time I checked here was months ago. I'm astonished at the improvement!
Like Ardsecoere mentioned earlier, maybe some finished works would be nice to see!
I love the 6th one down in your 3rd post. Those concepts are amazing. I prefer seeing more of those. Also the most recent one is nice!
Post more of those!! You got great imagination!
Very nice Bridgman studies!
Wow. Freak. In a good way of course!!
The first pic with the drapery is just insane...
My only crit would be that the hands in post #9 don't seem to carry the same authenticity and feel as the...
A lot of improvement from last year. Keep it up.
I think as a suggestion you could focus a lot more on basic things such as perspectives, anatomy and shapes/straight lines, that sort of thing. Will...
Great start. I dig that quirky blue bear you did. Would be great to see you post more of those.
Thanks for the post. Hope you're well!
An interpretation from the book Poetics of Space.
Couple of the poses in post #20, the 2nd and 3rd one seem to have slightly off proportions. Otherwise you got some nice skills going on here! keep it up!
Damn man, you got some serious skills here. Really dig your environments
Finally you update!! This is a farce, you need to keep posting!! LOL
Great sense of believability and sincerity in your characters.
Yeah been busy with my semester now and don't really have the...
keep working hard mate, have you tried studying Bridgman? Worth looking into!
Man, I love the cartoon type coloured ink drawings you've done. Great sense of colour and application. I also dig that life drawing of the chick. Nicely rendered and tackled it very well in terms of...
keep up the effort with the life drawings. You can only move in one direction and that is to improve, it's really good to see.
I especially dig your pen studies particularly that 2nd one with the...
Thanks for the comments guys.
A quick study for an oil painting i plan do to for a project. Not sure where to go with this but i'll keep experimenting.
Digging all these updates mate. Except the red capsicum. The perspective seems a bit odd around the chunk on the top 1/3 if you get what i mean. It feels inflated to the rest of the form. Also the...
Awesome sketchbook. It took me a few days to run through as there were so many pages. The improvement has been tremendous, especially your life drawings and still life studies etc. I dig those last...
Really nice mate. Didn't see this one around. Got a very distinguishable style that's very eye catching.
You remind me of this bloke in one of my classes who has a similar style to yours. Awesome...
Hey thanks for posting my SB.
Great improvement from your first post to last, in particular your figure drawings.
Love your master study in post #304. The line work is superb, great clarity...
