MeteorCat Your presence and support are appreciated.
PollyBoffin Thanks, I'm hoping to slowly slide into a field of painting that feels like my "personal work". But it's not something I'm actively concerned with because I feel like stuff like that...
Some work done at school.
Setherial Thank you.
Wanted to make a painting in less than 250 brush strokes, to train my stroke effiency. It was incredibly hard.
n1frit Thanks, sadly I do not get that reference.
MeteorCat Thanks, the first one is a painting after a still frame from the movie Blue Valentine, the second is a portrait of Frank Zappa.
DStraX go for it
Qikalain I see what you mean, but as long as people realise it's Brad Pitt I'm satisfied. Killing them softly was great, was a lot better than I expected.
insane lemur Thanks, I sure did. I glued...
Goremageddon good point
teapo Thanks, haven't touched the digitals in a while now, oils are becoming more and more fun. We'll see what the future brings.
Goremageddon Don't be silly, I watch video tutorials, I don't make them.
hiddenfactor I get your point, but I feel like I should first learn to draw from observation before I start taking my own...
kyle1871 A double "woohooo!!" my my, that's quite the compliment.
Wuggy Being able to see my own progress is one of the main reasons I maintain this sketchbook, thanks.
A painting of Edward Norton (Fight Club)
A quick study of amelie
And 4-5 hours into a still life setup that I hope to complete tomorrow.
Goremageddon Looks like we share a common interest, I would too like to one day master the figure. Let's see, I think charcoal is a much more practical material than graphite for figure drawing,...
And a self portrait I did at school.
Some more progress.
A new painting, starting with the fun stuff.
Finished a project at school today, we set up a skull and every monday we'd change the lightsource and do another painting.
Most of these took around 3 hours each.
Goremageddon Gotta keep on truckin.

A little something I started after I got back from school, will probably finish it tomorrow.
