More Painter brush practise.. This time liquid ink and airbrushes.
Yes, it's not exactly what I normally do.. it just sorta happened. :)
The hair you've made now fits in quite nicely with the sketchy style of the girl. I'm a bit confused as to how it's lying though.. Normally you have it divided at the top of the skull, in yours it...

Wicked start on the last, Heavy Gunner. Gör klart den! :)
Sketch, well, they say practise makes perfect. ;)
Quick speedpaint face, no ref.. Getting used to Painter. (Symmetry? What's that?)
The colours and texture in the CHOW is sweet. He looks as he's about to fall over though. ;)
Hey Goog! I love your pencils; they're so smooth and your lines are gorgeous. The last COW has a real nice mood to it, but isn't it difficult for him to walk with spikes out of his heels like that? ;)

Not at all. The folder inside the zip file Davi provided had a space between 'Davi' and 'Brushes', so I created a folder without a space, as per your instructions. ;) It was the load thing I didn't...
Sorry, I'm not being very clear here. :P I followed your instructions at first, putting them in a new folder in \Brushes. When it didn't work - the DaviBrushes didn't show up in the brush list - then...
Jin - I followed your instructions to the letter, and I'm using Painter IX.5.
When I moved them into \Painter Brushes\ they showed up in the list.

I stole Davi's brushes and did some colour doodling (from ref) in Painter. Woo fun!
I tried doing what Jin suggested, but it didn't show up in the brush list. Do you need to do something extra to load them if you do it that way?
Thanks for sharing Davi!

Hatching and lines are wicked. Now get to work! ;)
Goog, thanks for stopping by! Excellent critique, I was thinking of nailing the form, bones and muscles before moving on to more value studies, but that's great advice.
Some Loomis.. and arms.
Random crap.. No refs, cept the guy at the top of the white page..

Panties! .. Is it just me or do I draw small feet?
And something I'd love some critique on.. Sketcher doodle going out of hand.
Would love some critique on this, mainly composition and value, but also anything else you see.. before I take it further. Horizon line too high? I'm not sure. Does the anatomy work?
SketchBook: Cheers Bartovan! It's what I'm doing. :) I...
Cheers Bartovan! It's what I'm doing. :)
I fail at colour.

Hej. Skåning här också. ;)
Hey, thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. :)
I see huge improvement here between the first and fifth page. Your lines and shading have really gotten better, as well as your grasp of the figure....
Faces.. Random males, some celebrities. I don't draw enough males.
After all the practise, a face from imagination.. no ref. The ear is a bit wrong, I see that now.. the collar...

Nice batch of pencils! I like the impaled guy, but I think his expression could be even more exaggerated.
You should colour the angry man with the giant fists. ;)
Decided to try and tackle Painter some more.. Is there any way to remove texture created by a brush? I tried painting over and using blenders but it didn't work.. Anything but continue working on a...

Love the colour scheme in your last oil still life. But I think there should be slight reflections from the bottles on the surface they're standing on.
Keep working on that WIP, and please post...
