Another "SciFi Mad Hatter" sketch for CHOW.
Hello again, everybody.
I started another sketch. I need to get some fresh eyes on it tomorrow, though, because I don't even know what I'm doing with it anymore. This is a tough one.
Creature of the Week quickie; "Deep Sea Crawler".
Cool topic and very interesting work all around already.
My first sketch:
Daily sketch group crab mage.
First idea sketch, I tried to stay away from steampunk aesthetics.
elinoree Thank you; still so much more confidence to gain, though.
I smudged some imagination faces together to try and get back into the groove. Time for some references.
LostTemple Thank you, I liked the energy in the last one as well.
This was from the Daily Sketch Group; when an artist's fruit bowl attacks!
Your sketchbook pages are looking great; very energetic stuff. That orc is coming along nicely as well, I think lowering the saturation in one or two areas will really make it pop as you continue on...

Great work on your rendering recently; it's looking really slick. The most recent WIP composition isn't really flowing though. Just adding something like part of another giant's leg in the foreground...
Your master studies are looking good, as usual. Don't feel discouraged by your imagination stuff not being up to the same level. Drawing things from imagination is on a whole different level from...
Took another quick crack at it.
Your portraits are looking killer, great work. Those Loomis studies are looking pretty stiff, and a bit scratchy. It could just be the brush and/or the way you saved the picture, though. Keep that...
Haircut gone wrong, and taking the ponytail to the next level.
