As mentioned I did pay 'em a visit and trying the free tutorials I was kinda put off as they looked rather dull.. But perhaps the commercial ones are a lot better?
I have been searching high and low for various creative training movies. I don't mind to pay for the movies but would prefer that they could be downloaded instead of mailed.

I really like the ocean and cliffs, they are well rendered and got a nice color scheme.
To some degree I also like the sky, but it get's a bit too boring near the sun.

The red dragon and the guy with the instrument, does in my opinion stand out from the rest in a negative way. They just doesn't look as interesting and well...

I like the textures and the colors in that first one.
But she seems almost toooooo symetrical and stiff.
Actually I tried flipping one half of the image and in places (arm/gun, leg, face) it...
Normally people wanna see finished paintings,drawings in the finally finished section.

Kinda reminds of a scene in Dan Browns "Angels and demons" the chapter where the 3rd cardinal is killed.
A lot more gore'ish and comic, still though it made my mind think...
Love the Sherlock illustration, allthough it would be nice with a warm orange glow from the pibes (nice contrast to all the blue/greenish in the back) and perhaps some faint smoke..
