Your stuff looks great! I love post 2.
Thank you! I intend on working on some new stuff. I always like going through old CHOW's and seeing if a topic gives me inspiration ^_^
So I haven't been logging in here for the past few years because I'm a terrible procrastinator and didn't have much time to go a 100% back into art. But I'm finishing school up this semester and want...
WELL... Started late... and didn't see that Migsta and BlackVolgan had already chosen the boar... But here's my attempt at it.
Hopefully I go ahead and finish this on time :/
Yeah, after I had finished the whole thing my teacher helped me to go in and sort of ease the corners into more round paths, but I missed that one and didn't notice until everything was exported and...
Thank you very much :) That whole zoom out thing was really hard for me to do it right. I did the best I could but you are right, I should have done something more.
It's critical to build a good foundation with basic animation so that you can portray what you really mean in the future. Maybe you could show us some of your bouncing ball animations or other stuff...
There are some moments of really smooth animation which is pretty hard to do first animation :)
It does seem like you were trying to tell too much without focusing majorly on your principles of...
There's the link if you want to go chickity check it :]
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Shabam! First attempt at 2D animation. Took me full semester to do this and to learn the ToonBoom program. Hope you enjoy, and crits strongly encouraged :)

oh snap :) That's a lot of work
Thank you very much :D Yeah, I really really need to work on light sources and all that stuff. I've been trying to put up a self portrait thread where I wanted to focus mainly on light and all that...
It's really smooth :) Some of the lines do break in some parts, but for it to be done in 3 weeks, it's awesome. What did you guys use to make this?
Those really expensive, beautiful looking movies are minimum $500,000.
I would like to show you guys my animation final for my beginning 2D class, but because it has O'Fortuna I can't find a place...
That was really great. You will have an excellent chance at winning :)
Very awesome. You seem to have gotten a lot of the Principles of Animation right, but you do need to do more extreme exaggerations.
:] That was cool. Was the person Rotoscoped?
Daniel got this for sure... but it also depends on the subject matter of the short. If your having people running around and kickin ass it's going to take a lot more time and money than some people...
Yeap yeap, I agree with that completely. Look at anime, there is a lot more DEPTH in those things than some ducks and mice getting conked on the head by falling objects. Also a lot of Russian...
I really didn't understand that quote :P Maybe I'd have to actually hear it.
Well, how many shows on adult swim, all of which have that "adult content, viewer discretion is advised" announcement,...
Awesome torso's! Maybe you could show more of the body in those studies to help out with proportions.
I'm still trying really hard to get my proportions correct. :P
Kabu - That was my original idea too :P if you look like on the first page of the thread I had this sort of gorilla thing... I'll probably finish it sometime too. :D
