Loose, flowing linework.
and fun images.
Yeah the snakes head lacks bone structure, and conan is abit short in the proportions.
I also think his left arm (holding the knive)might be shorter than the other.
Your conan is good though, as...
Love the idea of creating minitures for ref. I need to do this myself... backgrounds are a weakness for me.
In your sketch, I think you need to push the values more. Overall your image looks grey,...
The warm light hitting the ninja's looks fantastic.
eerie, dark, creepy and beautifully rendered.
Very cool artwork.
There is so much texture, and it suits the subject matter perfectly.
First piece is the strongest thanks to the lighting used.
All are rendered well, but the first one has more 'life' to it.
Not a huge aircraft buff, but these caricatures are great fun.
Very creative designs and great finish.
Really like the pumpkin head one.
fun designs, creative and likable.
I'm a fan of your technique etc, having seen your work on several sites.... BUT I don't like this piece very much. The colours feel very muddy compared to your usual standard and Conan's anatomy...

wow, great textures and cool creature designs
Nice to see a lot of poses and quick gesture type drawings.
Solid sb so far.
One area that stuck out to me, was your figures legs, this seems to be your most inconsistent area. As the...

Love your linework, and your figures have a nice natural flow and body language to them (something I'm bad at).
Looking forward to seeing a lot more.
Just looked through your sketchbook, some very cool work in there. You work well from life and reference, but I really liked seeing your looser gesture type sketches.
I can see an improvement from...

Come on where's the updates!
last bunch for this morning.
These were sketches from my SB, that I scanned and added basic colour too.
No redo, just colours, TV added. Pencil/linework still all there (including mistakes).

mostly just pen and pencil.
LOOOOONG time no post, so here are some of the usual pages from my sketchbook.
Yes, a real sketchbook with paper and pens and pencils and bad lines and mistakes etc.
