Merry Xmas folks
Soo, as promised, replies for tout le monde!!! :D
Yeah I think that sketching is the most important phase. Although I stil think that the image ended up cliche nevertheless. But...
Sorry for lack of updates. Ain't becaues I haven't been painting (quite the contrary :) ).
However, I'm terribly busy nowadays, and I've found out that time I spend browsing CA and...
Cool to see you deviating from enviros a bit, show more!
Christ its been really hard for me to keep up with you man, especially when I can't check CA that often :(
I'm loving your character work. I think that your final, more worked on images start to...
Great progress overall I'd say. I think you should push the contrast a bit more in your images, since they are greyscale. In a color image those might be the correct values, but you'll...
I've been missing on opportunities to spank your brain I see :P
I think you have been degrading a bit. When you started the sketchbook you showed some very cool, loose images, but that got...
Cool character sketches, keep them up!
Great work Kishi! Its good that you are slowly deviating from pure vehicle design :)
Your traditional work is spot on. You need to practice more your digital techniques though
Very cool stuff Wasker, nothing to crit really!
I'm especially digging the forest image
Been missing alot I see. The animal sketches are coming really cool. Just try to use a more sharpened pencil. Some of them look a bit blurry on the lines :)
Very cool works, I especially dig the more loost sketches. The style in the Phallocentric girl is a definetly keepers for me :)
The knight in red background in post #1956 I really dig! I'd love to see more of that loost style :)
I agree with Novbert in all regards. You definetly loose alot once you start "rendering" the images. The great dynamism and looseness that you have in the sketches is superb!
Keep it up!
Cool stuff overall, I especially dig those compositional studies! In fact I think you could try and apply that to your own images :)
There's a loot of improvement since I last came here. The pencils are very nice especially!
keep it up :)
The 3d is very cool, has some anatomy probs, but in general is cool indeed :)
Watch the line weight on the 2d work though
You have some awesome stuff going on here! I usually tell folks to start doing stuff via use of shapes, but in your case the line is so integral to your style that such a crit won't...
As usual, very cheerful work!
Here's something to think about. I noticed that on some enviros you smudged all the edges. Others are all hard edged. I think its worth actively trying to have both...
Yeah the fish piece is a very cool one!
As for this one, I think the colors are great. I see lots of distortions in the anatomy however
Very nice as usual!
I don't think that doing just line is inherently good or bad. The only difference is that you are omitting more information, but the simplicity makes up for it :)
Great start you have here. The inks are really cool, as well as the Sniper (I think that's a pretty good style for digi's by the way)
The girl with the sunglasses and these last...
I like the work overall, but I think you should pay more attention to the figure (real humans, and then extrapolate the knowledge to the "manga" style).
Keep up the work! :)
Cool stuff, I really like you're monster concepts! I think some of the pencils are a bit overdone however.
Keep these up :)
Cool stuff man! Some of those have anatomic issues, but I understand that anatomy isn't the point of those anyways.
I'll be hijacking your references if you don't mind :D
Keep it up!
