i really like his work. after i took a closer look i recognized that he also uses poser figures for paintovers (mainly recognizable in his older works, the new ones are well integrated), 3d elements...
hi guys, just stumbled over this thread, and hope to may join.
Figures are the subject i struggle most with (stiff look etc...), the only books abouit dynamic figurtes i found were 'how to draw...
just my two cents:
if you have your monitor hardware calibrated, there's a tutorial of john derry to match photoshops and painters color management. if you set up this correctly, the differences...
awesome...i especially like the snow environment with the tanks in it, the beach scene with that strange atmo and the underwater creature.
great stuff...i wish there would be a few worked out areas in the environment at the top contrasting the rough areas, but that's just me :)

Sony released Ethernauts yesterday, and here are my cards. Compared to the first set i did at the beginning of this year, i think there is a bit of a progress recognizable...at least i think there is...

these were all done without ref, just in case sombody wonders...
decided recently to work on my figure skills a bit more. Main goal is to become better at drawing from imagination, especially more dynamic poses for my figures in my finished...

my only crit is that the mountains seem to be all on the same layer. If you would push some more back, you could enhance depth.
