Update for Wonderment! May be the final image.
I kinda altered my painting process for this one. I just painted in greyscale focusing on values and adding color afterwards. I'm not sure I love the...
Some sketches done over Spring Break, after watching a ton of Miyazaki films back-to-back. I ended up drawing all my suite-mates as miyazaki-style children.
I'm also trying to loosen up my style...
Great work, dude. You have a very attractive, loose style with awesome brushwork.
Wow... i can remember my first time using Photoshop for painting, and my results were nowhere near as good. You seem very adept at rendering!
However, you should study forms more closely. The body...
Not bad for a crab
Change the title of your sketchbook, because you definitely do not suck.
The environments are great, and I can tell from your lighting that you've taken a lot of trouble to study photographs.
Sketch for a friend's project.
Wow! Nice environment concepts! I dig the one in post 387. It reminds me of a third-world fps.
These are drawings done for my production design class! The scene I crafted was a flat, dusty and arid desert scene with distant looming rain clouds.
Creature/value studies! Some reference from the amazing concept artwork of Michael Kutsche.
Upon reflection, it did come out a bit dark, but then, most of my stuff tends to. Oh well, something to...
Sounds awesome! I may jump in on this one ;)
@AndrewToth, I love how yours is coming out so far. I can't wait to see how threatening you can make the guy on the left.
Your studies are coming along very nicely!!! Keep at them! I'll have to take a look at Bridgeman's book.
Classtime doodle. This ugly hag was inspired initially by my architecture teacher, who, I can assure you, is a far more becoming lady.
Some studies of old paintings.
Hey Ville! You should do more pencil stuff! Nice studies btw!
Sketches from a restaurant. There was a lot of seafood, so a theme emerged.
More stuff for a friend... Faces need work.
Speed sketch for today. Came out... interestingly... Whenever I exaggerate faces they always take on a very specific look. I'll try and expand my repertoire in the future.
Awesome stuff. You have a good handle on life drawings! Thanks for the feedback on my sketchbook by the way!
Torso Practice! Some improvement has been made. Must keep working.
Sketch done for a friend. Neither of them were referenced, which is why proportions are a bit wonky, especially with the eyes. Oh well.
Haven't had the chance to draw in months! Getting back into the swing of things, and hopefully making a better habit out of drawing regularly.
Wonderful sketchbook! You have tons of life in your drawings!
