Finally got home from summer vacation stuff, here's my initial sketch before I pass out on my bed.
Amazing works and effort from everyone so far!
Not to mention all the strict naming conventions in any game or movie-related CG work...
My first successful CHOW as well... could've spent a few more days on the color especially though.
Can't get this to look like I want... but I'm about out of patience soon. :( I'm saving the hands and feet for last, still haven't learned to draw 'em properly.
Another update... work on the Dreamweaver more than anything. frustrated and annoyed with everything about the piece right now. Hopefully sleep will cure that.
Thanks a ton for all the critique <3. Here is my latest "update", i didn't really develop anything as much as changing it, though.
I want the trees (which seem to read to people as fumes,...

Blaker: You've got a cool character going but I need think might need to take a few steps back in the process before you start refining and adding details. Maybe consider a more dynamic pose? He's...
A bit info on people unfamiliar with Lovecraft and the Cthulhu mythos...
Definetely in on this one, love the Cthulhu mythos! Although, as mentioned earlier, isn't early 18th century very early for Lovecraft stuff? Anyway, been doing some silhouette thumbnails, can't seem...
The Flame Arbedakkedis dwells in a vast network of volcanic caverns. Being fiercely territorial, it will use its developed sense of smell to track down...
Swamp version! Great work so far from everyone else :)
I hope this reads as the variation it is... :x
Hello Rob, and thanks!
Messing around with Save for Web in PS I improved the extreme darkness/contrast a bit, hope there's a bit more to look at now. :)
This is my first post in COW, or anywhere on Conceptart.org for that matter. Decided I wanted to try joining challenges on a weekly basis to (hopefully) speed up my improvement and learn alot from...
