The rendering on these is really great! You should really focus on the gestures of the characters though, cus they are kinda stiff and awkward in someways.
I don't keep a traditional sketchbook but instead I just doodle in photoshop. Here are a bunch of rough and unifnished doodles.
Liking the offbeat colors. Though I think it would be neat to make the lineart a little more vibrant instead of near black.

konnA - I'm actually still working on the Metroid one a little bit. I will post the original, but I have receive crits on that one about the legs being too stiff....
The first couple and the last one are by face the most successful. They are still loose, but without too much chaos like the ones in the middle.

Those are all pretty solid. The first one with the dwarf has a real nice foreground, but the clouds feel sort of rushed. That blue really burns my eyes after a little bit.
Still though, nice...

The colors are starting out pretty nice. If I were to crit anything about that piece is that the arm closest to us is a little bit confusing around the shoulder. But I'm sure that will be fixed...

Those leaves and plants are actually pretty cool. Its really hard to draw those things and get their form right.
