Hi Aaron... I really like that last one. The gorilla looks real big and weighty, and the guy's pose works very well. I do like Dan's little lighting tweaks though...
And going back to your earlier...

Hi Aaron! I've somehow missed this thread until now!
Some lovely stuff here. 'Musing' is beautiful!! Your IMC piece turned out great and I really like the two samurai pics...
Lovely stuff, Ralph!
'Aerial Combat' is reeeally nice...
Lovely earthy tones, bit of attitude, cool armour and stuff, great 'camera' angle and she's a fox! Yay!
The process is interesting too....
And how's the painting going?
I spent ages looking at your various woodland images, love the kid on the 'thingy' and the four character concepts are very cool... And tere's great atmosphere in the 'Drawn'...
I like the first one best! Although, it's funny... My first thoughts were that it was watercolour or inks, from the marks and the hard edges. And in a way, that's what makes it more interesting (for...

As a few folk have said, hands are excellent and faces are beautiful. Your blog is really interesting too, for all the process stuff and descriptions. I'm smitten with "When Red...
Great thread! I'm so jealous, building your own house must be one the most satisfying projects you could ever undertake. There's something primeval in the building of warmth and shelter for your...
Some stonking stuff here... Your colours are so intense.
I've been a lomg time fan of that tea party pic, but now there's new stuff to drool over. The space monster thing is great, and thanks for...

Super duper stuff, as usual!
The 'Imposter' piece is hilarious! And 'Baby Chewy' is very cool... Are you gonna do the rest of the STar Wars gang?
And as a huge fan of Kei's drawing style, I...
Just beautiful stuff... I love the colours in your more recent work, particularly the one with the girl who's hair is caught up in the teeth of the big cat mask. What was that one for? Your subtle...
Brilliant stuff, Ralph! I really like the big robot painting!
And as a few folk have mentioned, there is so much energy and movement in this lot. Great!
Amaaaaazing girls Aly!
And I'm sure it'd be tremendous fun to give Vicky "more love on her legs"... Ahem...
Ella is a beautifully rendered babe, and I'm still miffed that I missed Imelda May...

I've said it before, but 'JUMP!' looks great! I think the simple style and white backgrounds work perfectly with the story. I've added my vote... You deserve it just for the videos!
I like Wonda best.
But all of them are good for me. You can't beat a curvy girl!
First off, I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply to folk. We had a baby girl last month, who has been taking up most of our spare time (as well as our four-year old daughter who started school and...

These are just great, and that girl's costume is pretty sweet too. Ahem.
But the Yoda is just amazing. I LOVE it. Your rendering is so spot on.
If I had one crit, then the bottom...

These Welsh Jedi have been in the news before. The seem to enjoy the role of victims. I feel the force is weak in this lot....
Wasker, StreetBehemoth, Oni Rem, Cam Sykes, Rick-K... Thanks! I'm glad y'all like it...
And Cam Sykes, I noticed you're in Sydney. The book's being published by Koala Books in Oz very soon. It's...
All wonderful stuff, but I particularly like the one in the woods (is it a fox?) talking meat!
I'm off to browse your blog!
A few years back I entered a COW on conceptart. I did a quick job on the theme of 'Deep Sea Creature' and came up with a bit of a silly entry called 'The Pirate Muncher'. There was a little bit of...

Lovely lovely stuff. I like the rendering on these and the way you've combined digital with some 'traditional' (watercolour?) marks and textures. Cute characters too.
My favourite has got to be...
Are you on a PC or a MAc?
On a MAc you need to make sure you untick "Mirror Displays", under the 'Arrangement' tab in display preferences.
I'd imagine there'd be a tick box in the ATI drivers...
Eeuurgh!! That's all nasty!
But reeeeeeaaally nice...
And there's some great WiP on your imageshack pages, especially the greyscale clos-up of the face.
I love your rendering!

And this one's a workshop on designing characters (or robots in this case) for 'Computer Arts Projects'. I figured I could add it to this thread because both magazines are published by Future...
