Thanks for the advices with those techniques! To be honest i never used the history brush tool (only sometimes by mistake!) but i think its not too late to revise and start experimenting...

I like the fact that you are working on paper! Your character studies are indeed interesting, but probably wherever you feel ready you should try posting a finished and more polished sketch :)
