Thanks again to you George and John for taking the time to do these reviews.
Cap's face is lopsided. If you compare the relative heights of various facial features right to left you will see what I mean. The corners of the jaw are the most obvious...
Thanks for looking.

My name is Simon Lissaman. I am a concept designer with and have been working in games since 2000, with some experience in book illustration and film pitch work. I want to get a job on the Doctor...
A few polishes and tweaks and this should be done. Model sheets here we come.
Work in Progress.
In conceptualising this character, I think of being lost in a forest at night. It's cold, it's strange and your survival means nothing to anything but you.
I'm fooling around with an idea about the paladin harvesting 'belief energy' from old places of worship. Either that or he is purifying his blade in holy fire or some such.
Some location and prop concepts. Kadies was a challenge given the number of different ways it is shown in the Sin City books. I eventually got a layout that I was happy with.

My vote went to Bumskee. Min has turned out a beautifully understated piece with excellent colour & rendering and, most importantly, mood.
Whiteee was a close second. Nice forms and brushwork.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Bara - First off, really nice work on the design and rendering. The critter has weight and mass, and plausible anatomy. Nice restrained...
Jakkas your work continues to amaze me! Awesome stuff.
The Ruby Float is a large plankton feeding Jellyfish. It's...
Ghastly apparition WIP.
It's been a long while since I did one of these, so fingers crossed.
Awesome work Vegas! Great design, excellent colour and amazing use of DOF.
If you want a better use of money, how about this.
For the cost of the war in Iraq, the US could have shifted to a Hydrogen based economy. Fossil fuels replaced with Hydrogen, a clean, green...
Cheers for the votes, chaps!
Moai got my vote. An elegant critter with feasible anatomy, rendered very simply and effectively. Very nice work.:rendered:
Nice work Michael. I really like the glass eggs. They really look like Venetian glass!
You're right Dragon, lots of work needed on the feet, and his tail & bottom need some work given their prominence. I'll see what I can do in the next couple of hours.
Someone had to do it.
Worked his feet some, and added some hair.
