*exhales* Okay, it's been a while. The recent downtimes have really thrown me off my posting rhythm. BUT, I have been working my ass off, so here are the "best of"
Im trying to learn how to get that "production painting" feel. So far it looks really incohesive. Ummm...help?
What should I study? What can I do to make the middle of the canvas, midground look...
My first IDW. A small craft with a side shield considering having shields in front would mean a lack of visibility.
Just about there
The leader of the boobies (the birds, you sickos). Nothing screams alpha as f**k more than blue footed boobies
I have worked on it a bit since this WIP.
Back studies and more
Finished her off and a small vehicle sketch.
A painting I've been working on. One with the fancy schmancy dramatic lighting, the other without.
My first still life. At first, I was dreading doing one but I quite enjoyed it. Going to keep pushing outside my comfort zone.
Face studies. Just trying to learn how to properly render a face and the forms.

Male torso studies for now.
First swing at it. Feels a bit too plain. Anatomy seems off as well.
Quick painting. Used major structures as Adam suggested.
ninaren Good idea. Looks like ive got my work cut out.
Character sketches. Roughly 30 mins on each. Gotta pick up the pace.
First time doing thumbs for characters. Looking to make my design process more efficient.
