Othrandir, hard to post more with forum being on and off all the time and then after that I lost my sketchbook, glad it's still here though! Mm, studies, I try to keep away from those at this point...
Hey, some good stuff in here! I like the line drawings, previous page looks great ;] Though some parts look more clean and others more sketchy, as if you were having a bit more trouble there with the...
That's a lot of stuff! I like the hand studies. Keep it coming! Don't forget to use what you've learned from those studies too, a painting or two in between those studies is always good ;]
Great to see someone going strong at both digital and traditional. I don't even know which ones I like more, but it sure makes me want to get back to real paints myself. Keep inspiring!
Overtoom, I'm glad you like it! I enjoy seeing work develop myself and the way other artists approach, so it's good to know someone enjoys seeing my ways ;]
Leonor, I simply needed another place...
Lovely studies. You can surely create great pieces with little effort, from the looks of it, but it can't be easy. The simplicity of the brushstrokes is just beautiful. Enjoyed stopping by here!
Some sweet stuff in here. Love the pink elephant! This last environment is amazing too!I like the softness of it. The abstract piece on the previous page too. You're doing good things here!
Made tumblr for different kind of stuff than I post here! << LINK >> Have lots of plans for cool stuff when school ends. Keep an eye on it if you're interested ;]
Dahlium, thanks! I'll try, but damn some stuff really makes me think about another forum...
Done with the short film! I'll upload it tomorrow if I don't forget. Here's the backgrounds I did....
More style research and a little fast sketches, because I need to sketch more, damn
Aks9, thanks! They're really good for learning new stuff and playing around with brushes. Fun to do! Thanks again for dropping by!
Some environment layout sketches for the short film
Thewandererjourney, thank you, mate!
More style research. And what the fuck is always happening with this site?
Erdbeerfeldheld, I agree about the painted box feel. I have an excuse, but that doesn't matter. It was a color course at school, but I just went crazy with perspective and architecture, which is one...
Little photo study
Will be working on a short film (30sec) for a month, should be fun!! Hopefully I'll have cool stuff to show.
So I saw boobs in the thumbnail and clicked. This is a really nice sketchbook that you have. The chick with hyenas looks sweet and the environment thumbs are amazing. Love it!
Some school stuff. Layout week. Princess Mononoke (love that movie!) and Iron Giant.
So, did a little bit more work on this, not sure if I'm going to be pushing it any further. It has served its purpose.
Can't see that much light in these last thumbs. I can probably see what you're trying to do, but it need more punch. Show some effects that light actually creates. If the swords (lightsabers) glow,...
Palladium, thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you like the designs. Design is damn hard...
Started painting. Feedback appreciated!
Aaaand some line work on the chosen design
Thanks, Christoph! That is amazing to hear about my work ;]
Here's some designs for the character I'm working for school
That IS quite an apple. I like seeing that many studies of the figure. I've filled a sketchbook or two with anatomy stuff, nowhere near enough to make me any good at it, but it's a step in the...
Your painting skills are definitely good. Colors look great too and I really like the environments you put your characters into, but I would work some more on the drawing part of the characters. Some...
Yay, new page!
Othrandir *wink* *wink*
llex_paul, thanks, mate! I usually find some screenshots online instead of going through the trouble to print-screen them myself. THIS website has some...
Mm, Bargue studies...Those are time consuming, but a great exercise, as I'm sure you know by now. Besides the drawing technique it does teach you patience. I remember spending about a 100 hours on...
