What was I going for here? The world may never know.
I wish I hadn't done a line sketch; it makes it all a bit silly. Still, I do love stomach-mouths!
Cool! Nice to see a breakdown; Could I see my scores as well? It would definitely help me (and probably others interested) in seeing where to brush up. :) Thanks!
Sorry for the long pause this week! Here's some new stuff, though I have to continue working on other works in progress I've already posted.
First just some character studies for fun. The first...
This is oddly low-res for me.
That'd be fun. :)
P.S. Should have mine tomorrow.
Vibhas: The mountains look great so far. Will you be adding the sun in any form to the composition?
Began to add color on mine, should be done very soon now. The first one is the original, the...
Vibhas: You're right; in my rush the angle of the light from the flashlight is all screwy. Easily fixed though, phew!
bluefruitbowl: Glad to hear the depth is perceptible, thanks! I'm really...
Thanks! Here's another update... He was still crouched down too far. Will start adding in the color now and tweak it more along the way!
First work in progress... just a value sketch. Meant to be "a sign of life". Think it makes any sense? Also, is it too dark? My monitor is very bright, so I like to check what others can see. ...
I think those subjects are up to your own interpretation; "long way round" could mean anything you want it to.
Oh man. There are awesome people in my group. Let's do this!
There's a lot of nice movement in your sketches. I especially like that one of the girl from the back. It's very sassy.
Let's see some more! You started doing some different line weights in...
Dazz: Thanks! Glad to hear I have something of a cohesive style (I'm trying to refine it even so).

Here's some recent work (and one or two not-so recent) to get this...
I vacationed there recently and it was a great place. During my time there, everybody I met (bar one) spoke English extremely well whenever they discovered I and my family were American (all it took...
I like the idea of parallel events running as scheduled while this goes on, that'd work out well for those eliminated from the epic fight.
Had to draw this up absurdly quick, but ah well, gets the idea across!
"In a rare flash of reflection, Farmer John realized that this would be a trickier situation than the rabbit infestation."
Of course Lilith had gotten the trouble shadow of the litter. But it was time to set him straight.
Last WIP before going in and slapping in more obvious lighting/finishing~
Awesome rendering, Sloth!
Had to go with Lake, though this was an amazing batch. His really tells a story to me; and it's a badass one.
I personally like the second version more, especially since the canvas doesn't cut off right above the figure's head. Plus, I think the mass of shadow above him could take on some interesting...
graywolff: Pretty cool so far, I like the hands.
Here's my sketch. Was gonna try for something a little more.. serious? But you win some, you lose some, and some just run off giggling like...
