Is COW dead???
Theme idea. A phoenix like animal. Something that dies and is reborn from it's corpse or ashes.
CA.O is slowly being reborn so I thought it fit. :)
I would lower the opacity on all layers and use this and your base sketch and go over it all again refining it even more. Don't be afraid to do a couple sketches before taking the time to do clean...
You have a unique style. Many of your marker pieces have streaky spots when covering large areas. That is a big downfall to markers. Have you thought about using watercolors? You can get the same...
To me the characters are refined while everything else is loose. Makes them look like they are stuck in the picture. Perhaps refine the rocks under them at least and a bit of the water around them....

Wow, Have been extremely busy with work. Which is always a good thing. Got another childrens book as well :D
First pic is a 3 hours speed paint. Thinking about taking it further and selling...
All done in Painter X. Moon lit runes was a speed paint, about an hour and a half..Went for a more light hearted style. Dragon catching some breakfast.. and a radioactive toxic goo slug thing...
Thank you. :) I have more slender dragons on the way.
The zombie was a color experiment. The colors are way to over saturated and skin won't go green like that anyways. Wanting to do some more...
Thank you, was a fun piece to do.
