A sketch I did for a friend of mine. He liked it, I hope you do.
his chest armor looks a little like an egg i decided
I modeled this in Maya
It still needs a mane.
some various cpncepts I've done for different games.
Here is an alien bounty hunter concept that didn't make the cut. :(
There is little point in the rest of us doing art at all.
This stuff is Great!
How could I stay mad at you forrest.
pues, no sabia que hablen y critican en espanol.
Just wanted to say it was awsome...again.
Thank you everyone for your comments. I think I will take this one back to a w.i.p. and make some enhancements. Over all I'm pretty satified with the direction.
Thank you all for you crits.
you have a great sense of space, and I love the graphic design elements. The images are terrifying. I love it.
Never played morrowind, but thanks.
It is cool to see a design actualized. Designing a piece to be modeled really forces you to work out your shaps. You can't fake stuff as much in a model like...
Thanks for the tip, bai fan. I can always use helpful advice.
Are you in the biz too?
Thank you all
I appreciate the anatomy example that helps.
Sorry about the size I'll get a beter aspect ration next time.
Again thank you for taking the time to comment.
Thank you all.
Usually I keep a lot of the line work but for this one I decided to try something new and render it out.
On second look the body armor could use a little more detail. And he...
I'm rethinking the green yellow colors. Any Ideas?
All of the interest is up front. It almost seems like it doesn't need those back legs to get around.
The front half is cool but the back half needs a different treatment
It needs depth front to back. You can achieve this by desaturating the objects to the side and behind him. Also I cant really tell where the light is coming from. Right now the image is to ambient.
Great color and great design.
The overall composition has leaves me stuck between the centaur and the ogre they feel to much like one mass. And the ogres axe feels cramed into the sceene.
Thanks Dutton. That is a very useful good critique. I totally agree that the over all value consitency and shadow quality could and will be addressed. Thank you for your comments.
I took a look at...
I especially like the last one.
Really unique design on the building. Doesn't seem dilapidated enough for all of the over growth, though perhaps its enchanted. You've certainly conveyed the...
I like them both.
On the first one I especially like the tech above her head. The shapes really flow well together. The tech she is sitting on though feels less integrated. There is something...
I like the last one the most it has more of a finished look.
I like the atmosphere of the first two though. I'd like to see them come up a bit in refinement. While they definitely are moody, the...
I like the shadow as well. The shadow is designed to draw your eye their first. The hair across the face is not a bad idea either.
I do agree though that some of the other areas could have some...
Thank you for your crits and accolades.
I agree the dude in the back has the least personality. I could try and make him a little more dynamic although as I think of his character I think a big...
Yeah I know what you mean about the right arm. It has always bothered me a little.
As to the helmet obscuring his vision...I was going for that sort of anime type of character that is to bad ass...
