Here's my late entry. Hope the attachments are working now.
The Guardian in his colorless resting state.
Really cool wips so far, I'm especially liking the dreary and depressing atmosphere in Ismo's image.
This is shaping up to be a great round, here's what I got so far.
Thank you all! Just a small update, current Chow WIP and 2 quick color studies.
Reworked her clothes a bit.
Oh man, I haven't been updating my SB in ages, sorry about that. For the past few months I really hated looking at my work and couldn't bring myself to upload anything after finishing it, so I just...
This was a fun topic.
Nah, it's all hand painted starting from a white canvas. But thanks, I'll take it as a compliment :P
Here's the ref sheet I've been using.

My initial idea,...
WIP. Kind of lost the sense of scale I had with the early thumbnail. Gotta work that somehow back in.

So, here's a quick color block in for the panels. I went with night time, don't know if that's what you had in mind Raoul, let me know if I should try out other lighting situations as well.
@Latus: Portrait was a good idea, it helps to give her a bit more character as well. Did a quick paintover to fix some anatomy mistakes and pushed the rendering a bit further. Tried to give her a...
