Hi guys, this piece was done for the upcoming Oz Collectible Card Game by Orion's Bell.
Any crits and comments are welcome.
these are really great.
If I may give some critique.
It's a little hard to make some of the creatures out at first glance. I think that is because they don't really seem to have a focal point to...
Games Workshop paints designed to paint plastic and pewter figurine's.
I'm going to do my best to enter this one, it's been too long. My pick:
1. Venomous Sabertooth Rodent
2. Phosphorescent Tunnel Digger
3. Scavenger With thorny head
4. Plague Dragon
wow, great topic I really wanna try to enter this one.

coincidentally just saw this on devart.
Very Khornate I must say, well captured. I like the creepy leg armor and the world eaters shoulderpad.
As a crit I would say the head is a tad small and...
just wanted to pop in and say there's a lot of stunning work all around for this topic.
my oh my, I'm loving this. The colors work really well here and I love how you painted the flames. The design on the creatures is simple but very nice. this is now my wallpaper :)
I like it. I prefer the first version because it really enhances the mood I think you were going for. Nice use of lights and darks. The only thing I wanna crit is that I'm not sure whether they are...

The only thing I dislike is her tailfin, it looks to flimsy for swimming to me. I'd suggest reducing the transparency or adding some hint of muscle to it.
I like the colors you've used.

very nice work, the disfigured face gal is mesmerizing somehow, totally digging that character!
lovely colors and nice flowing pose there. Not to sound like an ahole but is the 2006 bit intentional as you said it was a new painting ?(o_0)?
I like Halfwatt the best here, a beastly dude with a fashion sense. The tentacle dudes I don't like so much, the tentacles seem to much of an afterthought especially on dr. Cthulhu.
even though this (forgive me) subject matter doesnt usually appeal to me, I find this very pleasing to look at. The aray in colors and the loose strokes are so skillfully applied here.
The first and...
The Dungeon cleaner is extremely well done, I saw it this morning in the cow thread. the crazy design is very unique and I am so digging those tones and variations in color throughout the image.
this is nuts...
the colors and way of lighting are insane.
My only crit resides in the groin area, all the muscles coming together there seems a bit forced and unnatural, like per haps you weren't...
the concept is certainly interesting but like se7en, I don't really get a read on the image itself, and that's what we are about here I think.
The text is almost impossible to make out, if at all...
the one with the earth elementals coming from the brickwall is amazing...
crit: not sure if I dig the wall behind the 6 armed gorilla dude, it seems a little out of place for such an exotic design.
nice paintings, especially the one with the giant. Lovely hues. I would however, suggest playing around with the typography. Right now, the text is too much of a seperate thing from the image. ...
amazing work, one crit however. The composition appears a little busy, I think if you put most of the warm colors on the woman in the foreground and toned down some of the warmth in the other...
this should be moved to the sketchbooksforum but I am digging that cyclops, I've always enjoyed the theme of eyeball decoration on Cyclopi for some reason, might be even more effective when it is a...
I have a few crits but proper explanations and English aside I think this might help more.
Nice strokes and colors btw, oh final crit I just...
yes definatly post a bigger version.
I recognise Sil (Natasha Henstridge) in the left head but the nose and mouth throw it a little off imo.
The version in the chair (liked that scene...
these are nothing short of great and believe me, they look just as good on the cards.
My favorite has to be the dragon though, quite simply because I can't recall ever seeing something like it.

I don't really 'get' the leashes the women are holding since they don't really appear to connect to the beasts saddlework.
Other than that, very nice painting, I like the flow in your rendering....
