This thread should be titled, 'I think I should stop going to 4chan' and should relate to every single person on the internet.
You're forgetting the part where the boys are laughing and joking about it while they do it and the victim appears to be conscious for most of the ordeal.
This. This is pretty much the worst thing on the internet and no one should watch it.
I hope those boys are literally rotting in jail.
They were also fascinated by stripping mermaids!
The whole thing was great, everyone was really friendly, informative and really went above and beyond.
Sounds exciting, can't wait to see it. Keep up the great work, man.
I think he is talking about smudging pencil drawings. I personally hate smudging and it's obviously going to be more beneficial if you learn to properly render your drawings without smudging, since...
I don't wan to hijack this thread, but I'm having similar concerns to Dy.laneA. I am currently deciding whether or not to get a formal art education, but am definitely leaning towards self-taught...
This is pretty funny. I just finished my high school art course where the teacher would let you make whatever ridiculous connections to the topic and as long as it had a "deep meaning" it was good...
But that just means we're not giving enough information! Right...?
If this is your first digital painting, you'll be fine. Keep practicing and you'll be great.
This is 100x better than my first attempt.
Aside from the anatomy issues, your lines seem too dull.
Use a softer, sharper lead and make your lines smooth. Don't do little jagged strokes, use long strokes.
Welcome and good luck.
Whats the point in putting photoshop filters over a photo?
I'm mainly talking about the skull/faces. I think you're trying to copying it too much.
All you're doing is drawing what you see. You need to start constructing the skull. Construct your drawings...
I do this all the time.
I find myself mentally organizing what I need to do/when/how etc...but now I actually need the discipline to do it.
Need to start drawing and painting these holidays. Will scan some more stuff from my art folios now that they're home.
Fantastic progress on that last portrait, it really is inspirational.
Also, I could come to France if you pay for the air-fair. :P
Holidays. Finally. Seriously, I've been really busy (and tired) with school, but now it's finally holidays. I've got two studios to finish for school.
ABC: I don't think I was trying to draw with...
Really nice work on the portraits so far, they're a pleasure to look at.
Days need to be longer, I don't have enough time. Must. Update. More.
these looked better...there is maybe one i like
more progress on the portrait, would like some help with...
I can see what you're saying about the eyes and it's obvious you've been influenced by anime, etc...but please remember this:
You can't stylize something until you fully understand it.
The proportions and anatomy of the skull are off. The skull looks like it's skewed, which seems to because of the angle you were trying to draw? It also looks like she has no neck and her shoulders...
Well, it's an update. Some ref figures and imaginative and trying a portrait...ugh.
Some really great stuff as always.
The last piece looks like it has some issues with the shoulders/right arm. It looks odd how it's just thrusted outwards, it think it would look more natural...
Really nice stuff. Your latest dump is just fantastic.
Your figure studies are really helpful, not to mention excellently done.
Will be checking back soon!
