Cool sketchbook! Keep it up :)
I have to agree with Simon, darker with a few hazy stars perhaps. I get the feeling that it was already one of those things you were going to get too :)
I really like this one and I do hope you...
This is looking better and better Alex and I think it's one of my favorite posts to date.
Interesting, looks like the opposite side of being buried.
cracking piece of drawing!
It's good that all your ideas are not typical, it'll be interesting to see the one you go with.
Nice twist on the madonna and child.
Nice idea, be interesting to see how it develops from here.
The reaching arms are a nice touch it did need more to help it along.
Interesting and quite surreal (in a good way).
I like one and two, I think it works better with the medusa snakes rather than the whole head (just my opinion).
Number three works for me, it has a more dynamic perspective I think.
There's a lot going on colour wise. It'll be interesting to see where you take this.
It'll be interesting to see how this develops. Is this a solar system being born here?
Lovely drawing, I think I'd need to see a bit more rendering before volunteering a crit.
Two cool pieces Simon, and both finished already!! I will have to get skates on skates! :D
This is a very enjoyable thread. Loving the casual pose of the two onlookers, the colors and everything!
I love anthropomorphic trees, but my favorite is the egg guy, it's sends a shudder down my spine (in a good way) and is a real memorable idea.
I haven't seen another like it which is a good thing. I like the idea, I can imagine that little grotto being a whole mass of new life amongst destruction around it.
Some very interesting sketches, will be interested to see future development.
By your own high standards I'm looking forward to seeing another great piece of work Liiga :)
I like your sketches, I hope that you end up somewhere where your happy with what you've done. "I'm not exactly sure where I'll end up."
Nice idea, it sort of reminds me of the sacred heart paintings you find in Roman Catholic homes and churches. I particularly like the warm colors you're using.
I like the composition of your sketch.
