I'm not zooming in or anything. Trying to capture it in a loose style. So it looks kind of muddy cause I'm not "there" yet.
Thanks. I've been playing around with the thumbnails a bit more. Think I'll do another session of thumbnails before trying to get to the final work again.

Okay, the first bunch, I need to explain a bit. It's my "post modern" project for my painting class. The concept behind it deals with distance, immigration and identity....

I like your quick studies with the charcoal. They're full of life. The longer posed ones seem a little stiff in comparison. Maybe try bring some of that fluidity into them too.
