Been too long since I did one of these, not very frightening looking mind...
Il Capo - Nice creature design, I can totally imagine how it'd move, very freaky.
Espenboi - His gleeful little...
Some really cool stuff everyone, nice work - I really like yours Tommoy!
Great stuff Rob! You make me want to play with traditional again :-) I love the colours in the Hoffman piece.
Realllly impressive stuff, and so much of it! I love the quick silhouette sheets - really effective.
Love the values in the fighting robots one and the latest eskimo one too - post more like those please! :D
You're making good progress!
Nice work everyone!
I especially like yours Goran - I love the idea of a mummified corpse drifting through space and getting caught in their equipment!
I struggled to make mine look mummified,...
Really inspiring stuff Hethabyr, storytelling is definitely something we should all do more - excellent advice.
Good to see a fellow countryman posting on here too :-)
All the best and please...
Rob! - Glad to see you posting here, get a sketchbook going! Excellent crits, you noticed I am rushing through the design stage straight to rendering, something I am still guilty off, I will try...
I love your linework, really nice style to your characters too, post more please!
Really beautiful work, you paint girlies so well! :-)
Bones - It depends on the brush, some of them I just dab on, others I have affected by wacom pressure. The small splatters (my toothbrush) I tend just to dot around. Hope that helps :-)
Hey Bones, thanks for looking!
It's all custom brushes, I have a few nice splattery ones I use.
Thanks for the comments in my sketchbook Snubbed! I really like your pencil skills, you're capturing form really well. Keep it up!
It'd be cool to see you working on some black and white value...
Thanks for the comments guys!
Snubbed - You are right about the level fluctuating. These are mostly quick experiments, nothing I'm committing too much time to. Some are more successful than others...
An environment doodle, still playing with texture overlays and whatnot... I'll keep trying :-]
A very quick doodle, 20 mins or so:
Hey man, glad to see you posting!
As far as suggesting what you're lookin to learn from Bridgmans: Maybe pay attention to the way he deals with weight, and the way he blocks out the forms......
I really love the way you use textures in your work, gives it an interesting unique look.
Thanks for the crits dude, really good stuff, I can't believe I didn't notice that leg myself! :-D
Here's another lunchtime doodle (more brush play):
Good start man, keep on posting!
Keep an eye on your proportions and anatomy, draw from life as much as you can.
Keep on drawing :-)
Nice work Cepro,
I really like your train sketches, really nice delicate pencils. I really need to do more of that kind of thing.
Your colour stuff is really impressive too, would love to see more...
some very cool stuff in here, love some of your future environments and vehicles. Really busy and interesting, showing real progression too. I reckon you'd benefit from concentrating on your figures...
I love the soft colours you use, love the focus in the top one too, the soup bowl one (I presume it's soup?).
A lot of your previous work doesn't seem to be showing up, could be due to CA...
I'm amazed by the progression shown in your sketchbook. Really nice work Gosu! You've got really nice flowing lines with your figures, I've love to see some of them shaded/coloured up. Cool...
Some of this stuff is a few months old, not really happy with it, but I thought I'd post it anyway.
Some more painterly cutesy stuff:
Zombies and Golems (because I love them):...
