After a really really long break from watercolor, I've decided to pick up watercolor.
From your figure drawing it looks like you make an outline first and then color it in. Do you tend to make the outline visually based on what you see, or are you also constructing it using those...
This looks really good! Keep up the figure drawing!
I saw 3:10 to Yuma (good movie) and wanted to draw me some cowboys! The reference is from the movie, and I would appreciate any suggestions on color, lighting, pose, anything. I'm not concerned...
Some stuff I've made in art class
Hi. I tried to draw some figures like yours and I sucked at it. Uh I'll study harder. Post more!
Good job on that new portrait! Keep drawing!
Very cool pieces
The paintints are really cool, keep it up!
Just finished viewing everything in here. Great sketchbook. The tutorials were really helpful.
It's been a while. I'm still drawing, I'll upload all the studies I've made in class eventually. I made a study of a Sargent today (Lord Ribblesdale).

I did some figure drawing today the girl had really big boobs.
This turned out better than I expected. I could've kept on going, but I've been doing this bit by bit for a week. I think the biggest change I would make if I went further is to vary the values on...
A copy I'm going to attempt to color
Starting work on hands, trying to observe where all the bumps are. Fingers are pretty hard though.
The anime is there because I watched all of Cowboy Bebop and it was sweet.
Didn't draw too much over the break. I got the queen costume from the movie Elizabeth. I tried to draw animals too. Without their bodies, my bears and my dogs look the same.
Hi. I've been saving my favorite figure drawings from your sketchbook. Your digital piece is very nice, but I think it could use some sharper edges to contrast with all the soft ones.
From Surrender of Breta by Velazquez. The best way I've found to draw facial hair is to smudge a lot.
Thanks for the comments AztcFireFlower. I know photos aren't the best reference, but it's easier than finding people who will sit still. I'm going to start master copies again during winter break...
here we go
I would appreciate any comments on which style/which portrait you liked the most
