Well, Mark Silvestri did a fine job at this piece. Good proportions, believable textures and a very nice variety in lineweight.
As for your involvement in creating this sketch, there is none. You...
Well, 'more exciting' and 'breathtaking' aren't exactly features which can be evaluated objectively. Could you be a little more specific on what you want your work to look like?
More ballpoint pen sketches + graphite pencil shenanigans.
That's hilarious! :D
Just take Naidy's advice. Judging from your writing-style and behavior you are too young and inexperienced in field of basic social competence to...

Only one bird? Must be a very lonely bird then.
I don't think it is a paintover if it is not drawn over the original and has little to do with the original subject matter.
Thanks. It definitely helps to keep it simple when starting out as a total beginner, so starting with drawing in color could be a little bit overwhelming i suppose.
And don't start to neglet these...
It seems that you are struggling to get the lips right. It may help to think of them in terms of solid form and volume instead of guessing the outlines. This way you'll most likely prevent them from...

Your ink drawings look very good, i especially like the old man in post #9.
And the sketch of Andy made me really laugh!
A quick sketch of stuff lying around my desk. I guess it wouldn't hurt to sketch more from life.
Funny that you mentioned the portrait in post #64 because it's one piece i personally don't really like.
Aside from doing perspective-shenanigans i decided to give portraits and heads another shot. But this time with the goal to get the underlying structure right instead of rendering everything nicely....
I think i already said it but it still stands: your persistence is admirable.
As for your pieces from imagination, it wouldn't hurt to put a little more thought into the general proportions...
I have the feeling that someone who posts under names like 'fucktard615' and 'Sir Suckalot' isn't going to get comissions or able sell the stolen work. So at least he won't make a buck out of his...
How did you find out about this?

"How to draw" comes with a code that gives access to a vast amount of videos on the subjects covered in the book. Generally i wouldn't recommend to spend money on video tutorials.
I once bought...
