Brilliant! That thought didn't even cross my mind when I read it. I was just thinking that maybe knocknoc had a personal reason to using it, tsehehe.
Sweet paint over too! Cheers

What is this piece for (sketch? concept art? study? etc. etc.)
Decide on the lighting is the first thing, no? Or is this just a sketch going straight to 3D?...
Is this a photo of yourself when you were a peanut?
I have a few of myself like that and I can never get it right. This one fits nicely.
The neck could probably use a bit of blending.
Quick mess around. I've probably introduced more things to clutter your brain with. Sorry :P Just take what you can, and if it even makes sense at all. Brainstorming. :teeth:
-extended the canvas,...

This project looks huge. I don't suppose you've thought about collaborating with others over at CGTalk?
I saw your thread there, and I just thought it be good to have collaboration...
A lot of soft edges. Dreamy. (I love dreamy)

-her shoulder/bicep values are a...
Render Queen Linda Bergkvist wrote a few articles on blending, but I can't seem to 'Google' a proper link to. If you got 'Google' skills, she's my reference. (:
Keep working on them...

It's even happening through the customize - pressure test section.
I thought I did a clean install.

Right now, I blend with a rake tipped brush,...
I'd give this guy more volume, or just shrink his head a bit - unless this guy is super skinny and that thick looking armor is skin tight.
Proportions: Jerome Le Banner or Bobb Sapp. :P
Shouldn't this be in in your sketchbook section? - You're still developing it. ;)
-Anatomy issues on your second sketch. Is that a double penis? (sketchy)
