I agree with you that there's a ways to go, but I think that the bottom right of the model drawings is definitely a step in that direction. Just keep at it, man.

I think her eyes are mis-aligned.
Also I'd shoot reference for that hand. It doesn't look inhuman, but it doe look unnatural in the position.
Honestly I'm not understanding where you're going with that pose, first and foremost. I'm not going to suggest you start all over, but in the future I'd advise on a 10 minute google image...
I think perspective is your #1 concern right now. Gotta learn how to work with the space you're putting things in!
