Hey man. You seem like a cool guy, so imma follow you. Good luck with art school and stuff! Remember to work your ass off haha :D
Good job on those Loomis-studies! Your lines are starting to become really clean too!
Cool stuff, Yans! Looking forward to more :3
Cool shizz mah nigga 8-)
Scan some next time. It'd be cool to see :meow:
I agree with telohs. I really want to see more of your sketchbook pages :meow:
@ telohs: Thanks man :meow: I think it's a bit early to talk about improvement yet though haha. Yeah I guess I should try values before color, thanks for the tip :> About the brush, that is actually...
Some cool stuff here! I really like those gestures. If you want some direction, it really depends on what you've already studied and where you wanna go. Keep it up :D
Today I tried to focus on tones rather than outlines. I really like the result, especially on the self portrait. I was actually wearing sunglasses. I wanted to try to draw it, not too lazy to draw...
Good progress here. One tip about the fun with a pencil book: Don't spent too much time on it. If you want to go through it, do it really quickly. It might me better to look into the Loomis book...
Pretty cool stuff. Nothing I can say here that hasn't been said already. Keep it up! :D
Cool sketchbook! I'd really like to see some full figure drawings rather than just gestures :P For the gestures though, I'd suggest looking into vilppu. If you can get your hands on the vilppu...
I really enjoyed looking through these pages. Looks like you're pretty good at drawing from observation. Keep at it :D
I said i was gonna do it, so here's a self-portrat (at least an attempt) and a skull sketch. Also two 60-sec gestures because There was space left on the page.
And here's something that...
Wow really awesome stuff here! Your pencil drawings looks nice c:
and you're just 16? oO Damn I really have a long way to go.
Yeah Loomis is tha shit. You should also have a look at Hogarth and Bridgeman as well.
Anyway, good stuff! Keep it up :)
See that wasn't so hard was it? (actually that did take a lot of time, didn't it?)
Anyway cool stuff! What's that last thing?
@ kevlar jens: Why thank you kind sir. Sadly I had no time for a paintover like that today.
Not done so much today as I would like... oh well. I won't have to to draw very much in the next couple...
Jens, where are your kawaii drawings? cough up! Btw is that Stocking's severed head hovering over Starfox in that last picture?
Blehh I didn't do enough studies today. Got too sidetracked doing other stuff. Gotta work harder!
First some gesture studies from vilppu:
15 15-sec gestures and 10...
Wow that's really cool. Wish it had better image quality!
I gave up on this as I realized that I'm not good enough to make it turn out the way I wanted it to... Back to studies for me.
I did the first three assignments :) (a bit messy sorry about that...)
Looks like you're better than me so far :) Definitely some interesting ideas here. As someone else pointed out, your fundamentals might still need some work though. Keep at it :)
Hi there :)
I'm not really new to the site, but I've decided to become an active member now. I've already written a better introduction in my sketchbook, so go check it out c:
My name is Odin. I come from Norway, I'm 18 years old, and my high school education is as good as done. I've been on this site mainly to keep track of my friends' sketchbooks that...
Your stuff looks awesome as always :33 Is that a self portrait on the second page?
