I was trying to make the first page subdued classical and a bit boring to have a big contrast with page 2 that should be very impactful. THat worked or that didn't.
Last year I started a project for a graphic novel retelling Ragnarok as a genre movie. The project is still in development in different forms but not happening as of now as a comic for lack of a...
Beautiful execution! A real sense of space, rain, fog, smoke. Very well done. The look is very 1980s cyberpunk. I'm not sure how something so complex looking can translate into a game though, that'll...
In my opinion you will not find a lead concept artist job if you don't have professional experience so no need to apply. A concept artist position could be ok (but I doubt it), a Lead position (which...
Cool stuff man, I like the style. Nice and original!
'Bang' maybe. But are those silver bullets?....
A rather quick black and white comic page with some Halloween vibes and monsters. Nothing serious, it's just what it is.
It's time to vote for the comic now if you like it!
I can not post the pages here so you have to visit Zuda.
Please register and vote!
Yeah you could be right about that. Thanks.
Here is the cover bigger without any text on it.
Hope you like.
The comic is still at http://zudacomics.com/node/1480 and I really need some help from the CA Army. I need to win that...
And please go to http://zudacomics.com/node/1480 and vote for the comic if you like it. I need your support to keep this webcomic (and myself) alive!
I had it proof read by other people (even including some big shot comic writers, heh) that's what I meant :)
I understand what you say but I think that in a way you are taking it too seriously....
Thanks a lot guys!
I'll do a version without the lettering so you can see everything.
Poshspice: what's the problem? I proofread it... Thanks a lot for your appreciation!
If you like the...
This is the cover/promotional poster for my webcomic ShockPopTerror! a throwback to 70s style horror grindhouse. The cover illustration was inspired by movie posters of the area, especially in the...
There is an article about Stolen Suns on CBR.com with some new exclusive images.
Check it here: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=22660
It's free! :D
So no need for light version.
Some people called that character (the guitar player) 'almost not good looking', which I found funny.
Thanks I know about those fonts, I was just trying something, I wanted a different look, modern and more 'design' that the usual hand written allcaps type fonts.
It's an interesting experiment to...
I think I see what you mean guys. 'Comic' fonts would be better, less shocking because people are used to see those? I was trying to be creative with this font but I guess it's distracting.
Anybody has an opinion on this?
In what way you think the font doesn't match? Is it because it doesn't look like an usual comic handwritten font, or because the look of the font is too far from the look of the art?
It's a bit of a photo, and a lot of drawing on top. And lot of coloring after that.
Here are some images of my graphic novel 'Stolen Suns'. It has been designed for the Iphone/Ipod Touch screen which explains the format.
I tried to be original but very simple.
I worked on the Transhuman comic miniseries in 2008 and it is finally finished. The trade paperback has been released in all good comicshops everywhere or can be ordered online.
Here are some...
