    All PU fastcasts degrade silicone (plaster and PL don't) - resin is nasty stuff that destroys the oils in the silicone. It goes dry, hard, sticks to the casting and crumbles. FWIW 56 is pretty good...

    No I've done this and not had a problem. Should you choose to use a release agent (I didn't) do not use anything oil based as it will rot the latex.
