Hi all, hi Skeiff
I´ve been looking at your drawings and especially the last ones you did. Your self portrait is really cool. What calls my attention is the difference between the first sketches and the last ones. How did you manage to progress so quickly?
Keep it going man. :D :^^:
Best, Bushido :yayca:
Diego: Thanks dude!
Giricocola: Thanks mate, yeah I have tendency to really work my digital stuff since it's so easy to. Maybe I work them too much? probably. I still try to keep the energy from the initial sketch, but I can also lose that energy as well.
Define:oh damn! thanks haha. 8)
Bushido: thanks mate, I've been drawing rigorusly everyday for about a year now. That is pretty much all there is to it. I'm a major perfectionist, If I don't get it right the first time, I keep trying until I do, or until I feel I have learned something. The major key is to never be satisfied with your work, always keep studying and always draw. You'll get there, trust me. If I can, then anyone can.
Hey there! Awesome sketchbook Skeiff! I am completely digging your figure drawing - your self portraits especially, are very cool :).
There's something light but substantial about your work - I really love your obvious expertise with the pencil. :cheerleader:

Great work. Wish I had your patience.
nice lead work mate, and the digis are catching up fast too.
Those figures studies are way improved over the stuff on the first page. Great progress in such a short time.
I thought for the longest time your ava was a photo too, color me surprised that it's really a digi paint.
Man! I am totally impressed by your self portraits!
(Well, I should say all of it)
I am only a year younger than you and have no talent to make a self portrait like you have here...
man I need to work on my skills...
I think you should have some more animals on here.
JenZee: Thanks jenzee! glad you like.

EDIT: Anubis713: thanks! It only took me 10 months from being a complete noob, to where I am now. So just practice all the time and you'll definately get there!
Well i'm still here. I have been chugging away at drawing. I FINALLY got my hands on Process Recess by James Jean. What a fabulous book and artist he is. Also bought the Marko DVD, and of course I was blown away.
I cant wait to see what presents I got this year. hopefully a pony, or my very own life size Marko doll.

Whaaa, I feel so shit.....
hotstuff man, totally sexy doodles.
I'm going to go doodle in photoshop now,
Great as usual. It's always awesome to see new stuff from you! The little fat creature is so cute.
Good ol' creatures. Cool stuff dude.
Been watching yer progress for awhile, you're really elevating damn quickly.. from the Hale study to those SPs to the life drawing.
I look forward to seeing some more of your own finished work, some Illustrations or designs that put all these skills you've accumulated to practice.
Brendan N: thanks mate, Don't feel ike shit, you have some really great stuff going on in your book.
CheekYM2: thanks! he's not cute, he drinks the blood of virgins and children.

well here is a video I made a couple days ago, just trying it out for the first time. Inspired by brokencow's videos.
self portrait, from life, 30 mins.
I always start out really rough with general lines and value, and just refine from there.
EDIT: oh yeah, first time in Opencanvas as well!
