i did this for you tonight
a 7 step tutorial to show my process
i used 2 digital water color brushes in painter for this
"simple water" for color and shadow
"new simple water" for the sketch and light
its a somewhat modified version of justin sweet's technique (i didnt say improved, just modified hahah)
last one is as far as this will go just a 2 hour project for the evening

Good work here man. You should finish up the scene with the bear and warrior chick. It's coming along very well.

fucking COOL SB, brother.
fun stuff, lovely colors.
i drew an enviro...imagine that
love it or hate it
but it was a productive 20 minutes
Nice colors, I like it did you use the glow brush?. I've been trying out that brush thing you showed me and I think I am starting to like painter. I still just need to learn to speed things up a bit.
Very creative monsters. I really enjoy the one on your first page with the head in the chest. Your craftmanship is nice. You have a very good imagination with a great mix of the darkness to it. I would love to see more scene like the one at top with the bear and elf girl. I really enjoy the sense of a story.
