Been awhile....some work stuff for the free content we released not to long ago:
Nice ones, Doug!
Love the first, but it's that last one that's the crack up....a humanoid mole with a hard on and a smoking party hat. LOL.
very good stuff
Nice stuff! I guess that's some warm up to have my ass kicked by your tdome piece ;)
There are quite some CA.org guys working for that game, right? Post more please.
very cool. nice use of line in the character sketch
ooh, cool stuff man, my brain just blew a load......
furnace men of hell....
a Shadow of Collossus-ish game would rock if you just took down different golems like this in the fiery pits.... like put out their fires one by one or something.
I'm not really feeling that third one, but the first two are pretty sweet. In the first image, try pushing the poses of the heroes to have more forward lean and momentum. They look too a bit too static right now. Love the giant steampunk monsters in the background.
I like the first two most. great style and palette.
Bitchin' creatures in the first two concepts. We need to see some more work from you up in the finished section bro, this is a good start... ;)
How much was that Dougbot- Double Diamond Level Fanclub membership?
j/k....Fantastic stuff Doug!
Molemen with spiked crotches....priceless!
Perhaps my halloween costume this year....
Can't wait to see your t-dome entry.
Best to ya.
Sweet. Your work is freakin awsome. I just want to say thanks to you and all the artist that work on guild wars. Sorrows Furnace is one of the coolest enviorments I have ever seen in a video game. I like the spiked codpeice on the mole. Keep it coming, I am looking forward to more of your work.
Love the first two! It does have a Balrog meets bill sienkiewicz's Warlock (from The New Mutants) look to it!
My only crit would be the two characters running upwards in the first image. Great for scale, but I would have rather seen something not so straight on from the side.
Like it though...just enough detail, yet still loose and flowing!
p.s. Just borrowed a friends "Art of Guild Wars" book. Do you have a lot of stuff in there?
