FINALLY I have some stuff to show ya. These are a few of the concepts I did for Epic's Unreal Championship II. Its hard to believe that some of these are almost a year old now. Time flies when you are having fun.

omg these are fantastic.. i think the 3d person guns are the best imo.. great work!

Without trying to kiss total arse, I think that these are tremendous! The armour with the wings on the faceplate is a lovely touch - it reminds me of the helmets from Return of the King.

Bloody brilliant and well inspiring.

yes thank u from my eyes. to bad the game is too fast and i wont be able to enjoy these designs.

Why all the varients? Were they for the art director or are these something that we'll see in the game?

the rendering on the weapons is plain great.

Its tough for me to look at this old stuff and still like it. You know how it goes....

I believe all the variants made it into the game at some point. I was moved onto another project about a year ago so I dont know how many of these characters are actually playable.

Beautiful work, I love the sketchy finish on your illustrations. Man, I saw these doodels a while back as well... regardless, they more than hold their own.

My personal favourite has to be apophis but I can honestly say there isn't a single image there that I am not in awe of. Thanks for posting them.

Wow that's a lot of references / inspiration crammed into one character. The weapons are nice but didn't you make more than these two ? I thought I saw some other a long time ago (leaked I beleive), just as beautifully rendered. That's what I like about these... They have just the right amount of detail to them that you understand the shapes perfectly without the piece being completely overworked. They look deadly, that's it.

No egerie I only did 3 weapons for UC2. Anthony Pereira did the majority of the weapons and most of the main characters for the game. I kinda took over at the tail end of the project.

Anthony's concepts for UC2 are ASTOUNDING. They put my stuff to shame. Hopefully he will see this thread and post some of his stuff soon.

needless to say its all amazing. I particuarly like Sobeks face and Gorge is a lovely piece of work.... space marines are so done to death but you've really put new life into the character. excellent use of line. top stuff!
