Zhrayde, Thanks man!
Dannyphoto,Thank you! you're too kind :), I'm in progress of editing a Card process, should be up soon, i'll post it up here once its done! Or you can try to get into my livestreams, everyday at 1pm GMT (london time).
Here's 2 thumbnails for my next card, wonder which one he's gonna pick... I'm more looking forward for the left one, what you guys think?
cool concepts! :O but i think he's gonna chose the first one, sort of has more expression to it :)
Awesome :D I think the first one too, it works better as a whole. I really love the chick's expression in the second one though.
Thanks for commenting on my sketchbook before. I'ma watch your stream if I get a chance :D
thanks for stopping by my SB! much appreciated :D
also dig the last 2, both designs is cool, but left one might have just a bit extra something to it!
rastaray, Thanks man1 :D
Springly, Thank you and no problem ;) Hope to see you there!
rumpenstiltzkin, No probs, thanks for stopping by!
Here's a study done in livestream, i made up some stuff tho :)
ahh that last study is awesome!! really love the skin tones and how they show off the angles on the face! very nice one!
NickyBeats, Thanks man!
Finally finished this card within 1 day @_@ , I got a horrible flu and lots of fever while painting it... there's a lot of stuff i wanted to re-touch but well, my health didn't let me :(
Check out the High rez here!
That is seriously the best piece you've ever done so far.
Great job! Too bad you got that fever though! The only thing I thought could have been touched up a bit is that left hand (his right).
ConnyNordlund, Thanks man, yeah i'll be more careful next time ;)
Woah this week has been crazy, i got work for FFG to do some cards and the deadline is crazy too, but nonetheless i still did some studies while Livestreaming!
nice update,good and effective studies
thumbs up man!
Here's my November Golden Boy Entry for the Crimson Daggers!
I don't have loads amount of studies this month, but all the studies I did were done before each personal painting or work to help me visualize and learn effectively, like this you double the possibility of remembering the study because you DID apply it right after to your own painting.
Congrats on the FFG gig! Deserved, mate
really nice studies!
very nice studies bro ! and the hacker image is crazy .
ill come and say hello on your stream later this afternoon .
keep it up !
Tugelbend, Thank you!
rumpenstiltzkin, Thanks man!
BlasteR, Thanks glad you liked it!
Sorry for disapearing, got alot of work for ffg + hollidays but i'm back on track!
Crimson Daggers Gauntlet challenge studies:
That drapery study is great! SO is the Crocodile study, Amazing O: You did a really good job at capturing the texture of it's skin without it being too overwhelming
Glad to see you're back.
you've got some symmetry problems on the weapons. On the axe, the head is too overall lumpy. You've got only *slightly* different sized blades, which I can't tell if it was on purpose or they're supposed to be the same size and you just didn't manage. If they're supposed to be different sizes, exaggerate it more, also top to bottom symmetry of the blades is off.
on the sword, the hilt isn't in-line with the blade, it's tilted and makes it look sloppy/not sharp.
I'm not sure if you had reference for the crossbow, but would probably help you if you drew out a basic perspective grid, as-is it's rather broken. Also, if you've got a loaded crossbow, you shouldn't have the string unwound and resting on top of the bolt. Looks awkward.
Voodoo_Mama, Thank you for your kind words!
devin platts, Thanks man, yea you're right, i used reference for all the studies and mostly just eye balled it, the crossbow was with unwounded string in the photo so i've just done that, I'll work more on perspective in the next studies, thanks!
New illustration done!
