Well, I've been lurking this site for quite some time, figured it's about time to start posting my own "art" on here. I hope to get some good advice along the way.
Old stuff first... these were my kind of my highschool graduation pieces. I studied graphics design for the last 3 years there. I'm in my first year of art college now.
They're all "fantasy" pieces... more or less... the teaches suggested the theme because my sketches were all kind of strange imaginary creatures, you know, like 90% of the stuff on here ^^.
I hate all of these...
There are a few more which I don't have with me...
Completely random stuff...
Hey mate, i didn't realize who it was at first, but hey then i saw this thread and went hey its rubberhead!
Some really nice work you have done recently mate, especially the e.t picture.
Though i'm not sure i like how clean the troll is in the fourth pic.
wow man, very cool stuff in here ! :Dkeep up the good work
Hey, nice stuff you've got here.
wow great start
your stuff kinda reminds me of jason chans earlier work (with less anime influence though...)
keep it up and you will be super rich and have a woman in every city.
Some quick and crappy paintings from imagination
This one was for a creature design comp on another forum... ridiculous concept haha.
Wow, this is good :D
Even the first ones are great!
I like your sketches, it's very clean :D and your work has a cartoon feel around, which your teacher must've seen too. I think your style fit most of your work here, it has a side that's...adorable, even (I think) for people who probably aren't into this sort of thing.
Keep working! just...Good luck XD I want to see more :D
Hey man, some real cool stuff here. like the bold brushstrokes that really are a good way to work with skintones, or so it seems:)
Keep it up!
the one with E.T. made me laugh ;D
Well, THere's a lot of good stuff here! I like your colour treatment, especially on the goblin and the spi-deers.
Also, the second piece is great!
Awesome update rub!
Though that latest batch of face sketches is lacking a bit of form :/.
Thanks Muzz ^^

Anyway small update... school exams kind of forced me out of my drawing rythm, I need to get into it again...
Finished this one as a birthday gift for a friend (he's a tea addict)

Great work, man, love those little graphical elements and simple brushstrokes you use. Looks a bit like Nic and Jens' stuff actually. Thanks for the advice in my sketchbook, really appreciate it! :)
And yes, Nic and Jens are some of my heroes ^^
First enviroment in a loooong time, I need to practice these more.
It was black and white, but I threw in a funky gradient map.
