I can't believe I haven't visited this thread before. Just spent 20 mins looking at all the images. Very solid, fun work. Your draw such great body language and expressions - really adds alot of life to the pieces.
The only crit I have is that in some of your more 'realistic' pieces, you sometimes slip back into the large head / small body cartoon style. But that crit is more a nitpick.
Hey Chate, I noticed that your blog had what looks like a tutorial of some kind on it, but being that I am cursed to knowing only parts of english (I'm starting to get the hang of it) and not any other languages other than neanderthalic grunts and gestures, I was wondering if there was a chance that you'll ever translate that for the benefit of some of us yanks.
Love the art, by the way. You've developed into your own style that just rocks!
nice sketchbook, i enjoyed watching it :)
love the charaters
keep on goin ;)
kidult - thanks man!
Coinpurse - Thank you :) I appreciate it.
Ellr XV - Thank you so much for the words. I really hope the comics kicks into gear and that I'll be able to show some of it here.
SEVANS - Thank you kindly. I actually hadn't noticed about the large head / small body - I'll definitely pay more attention to that.
Ifman1 - The tutorial that was on my blog (in Hebrew, btw) was just a kind of review of Photoshop's brushes, not much more. It's pretty close to this page, except with shinier examples :)
Grafguy - Thanks!
Result of the recent weekly challenge in my blog, "After Midnight". It actually started out as a sketch for DSG's "Gothic Girl with Living Hair". Recycle 'R Us.
I think you could improve her head. The neck seems too long, and there is issue with the face features... It looks like she wear a mask... Also it's hard to see that hair is her hair, we can't see the beginning / connection with her skull, and the curves should be more fluid.
And the clothes draped is a little bit too limp. :)
Humm it's not my favorite work of you ^_^
Keep working it! :D
Chuck - thanks baby =)
Hive_Mind - thank you very much!
Clochette - Yeah, I have mixed feelings about this piece. Thanks for the comment.
A portrait of my sister for her birthday and a piece for my blog for Jewish New Year, when it's tradition (...tradition!) to eat apples dipped in honey.
Some more work on a character I posted some time ago, and an entry to the challenge run in my blog - "Cats of the Apocalypse"
For a challenge in a different CG forum - draw a portrait of one of the other members.
As always awsome stuff. THe face of the gothig girl seems a little strange to me, but I can't put my finger on what.
oh, and I want the death cat! awesome stuff.
Love the "Cats of the Apocalypse" designs, what a cool idea!
Great updates, and thanks for sharing.
The Cats of the Apocalypse took my breath away. I desperately, desperately want to see them in *something*, they're so alive and well-designed!

Fllnfalcon - thank you. I agree, her face is a little expressionless, like a mask or something.
Quinn - thanks! I'm glad you liked the cats, they were a bit rushed and even now I'm not sure how I feel about them.
