I can see that guy's dick... :O
Holy shit! You need to make
Put on some pants!
into a full-blown poster so I can own one!
really great work there my man. i love your comic style, and method for inking. the hulk is sweeeet!!! haha, i got a kick out of all the funny stuff too, "put your pants on!" "NEVER!!!!" - classic.
OmertA: Thanks, Jamie!
Kim_bot: Saying that my lines are confident is one of the greatest compliments that you could give me. Thanks!
walnut: Thanks! I do those abstract line things as a warm up sometimes.
mike butkus: Dude, thanks!
Bill: It's a good think his balls are hidden behind the dick so you can't see them! :)
Did you know that there is a comic book contest in the comunity activities section?! I just found out and I freaking stoked! This is what I did for POW! (Panel Of the Week) #37. Everyone should participate! go here.
Big fan of those watercolour life paintings! Really like those faces in the POW entry too.
Nice POW! Had me LOLing.
hilarious... well done. :)
The expressions on that guy are just so spot on!
freaking funny dude! :D
I agree, freaking hilarious :) And super well executed! I hope you'll post more like that!
Your blind date POW has a serious Eisner feel. Fantastic work, thanks for sharing with this thread. :)
Koto: Thanks! I really need to get back into the habit of going to more life drawing sessions. It's really good for me.
BRINKMAN!: Thanks! me LOL you long time!
walnut: Thanks! I really work hard to get my acting just right but I feel like most of the time I don't quite accomplish it. I'm glad it worked for you though.
zhonked: I hope I can too! I try really hard to make time to do stuff like this but often work gets in the way. Which I guess makes it hard to complain.
Here is my uncompleted piece for the last POW. IT was going awesome but then I just got swamped with deadlines. I did the first page and was stoked on it. Then about a week later I looked at it and hated it so I re-did it. Here are both versions. I feel like the story telling is much stronger with the second one and I used more mid-tones to fill in flat areas which made a VAST improvement, I think.
you got such an old school style! one really cool collection of work you got here :D
Wow, it's been such a long time since I last looked in here (page 2 or 3 I believe- how on earth did I manage that!)
I've caught up with the many pages I have missed; your sketchbook is so inspiring and refreshing to look through! It was also very interesting to see how you developed your POW in post 516, comic art and panels isn't something I'm very familar with, so it's very helpful for me to see! Your sketchbook just keeps getting better!
You have reminded me to dig out my watercolours, too...
Long time... glad to see you're still up to no good.
Holy Moly It's been about 4 months since I've posted anything!! That's way too long. I've been working so hard that I've barely had anytime to do any recreational drawing. HOpefully that will start changing soon. In the meantime, here's a few new things to look at.
Here's one of the pages from the project that is keeping me so busy:
And this is from "A Boy and His Dog" 5 minutes and 21 seconds into the movie.
It has been too long...but worth it :D
Love the 'a boy and his dog' piece!
Magic with the brush eh. Lovely, just lovely. I am a fan.
very nice stuff :) I like your comic strips
HOT NEW STUFF!!!
I enjoy both versions of the POW, the first one is minimalistic and reads very fast.
Please moar updates. ^.^
yeah I agree that the second piece is much stronger narratively.
Are these in Sumi-ink?
They`re really great!!
Awesome work, everything! Your linework, characters, storytelling. Keep it up!
hm... yummy artwork! add some unfinished pencil sketches , please!
oh boy.. i want your drawings all over my walls
eh, that would be cool
Koto: Thanks! I keep thinking I'll get to do more of those but the time has become my enemy!
Yazuki Wolf: Thanks! The Alligator one is watercolor and all my other ink stuff is Speedball Super Black. I keep meaning to sit down with my sumi ink and do some tests to see how I like it for comics.
pixel cheetah: Thanks!
surus: Thanks! below are a couple pages from the graphic novel I'm working on. Pencils on the Left, Inks on the Right!
very professional work!
