Composition Presentation 1: Design Theory for Artists
My name is Kiwi Casey and I am a student at Swinburne University taking a unit of study which focuses on 3D character modelling. As part of my project brief, I have develop an existing character concept as a 3D model.
This project is purely to develop my learning abilities. I will not profit from my model or your artwork, and will be fully crediting you as the conceptual artist. The 3D model and possibly concept artwork may appear in my and the Universities showreel for promotional purposes, but again if your artwork appears you will be properly credited.
Would you agree to me referencing your concept artwork Crocodile Wizard found at http://conceptart.org/forums/showthr...=196140&page=8 for me to turn into a 3D model?
If so, may I ask that you provide details of how you would like your credit to appear? Here is an example.
Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you.
Hows life going for you!?
This is regarding your post here -> http://conceptart.org/forums/showpos...9&postcount=12
I am working on developing my color/painting skills as well, so I was wondering why you set a base for that painting that you did of the orc (the grey background that you filled in behind the line work)
also, since you've been recently working on your color, have any tips or exercises that made a difference?
Edit: In hindsight posting this in your sketchbook would make sense, so I'll make a note of this there as well
