Hi Jeff, names derrick.
I veiwed your profile for a while and Im deeply impresed and inspired. I wanted to ask if you have any good ideas and/ or advice for a beginner on practicing drawing. And if possible do you have any good (free) sources to do so. If you dont respond back I completely understand, and i wish you the best in any and every part of your life.
thanks and Later days!
I love reading your threads and posts, I am always learning something new from them. Thanks alot Jeff.
Hey Jeff, I just wanted to leave you a 'thank you' on your wall, for your continuous help in the forums and especially for your presence in the fine arts section! I hope to learn more from you. If it hadn't been for your persistence on traditional art, I would have never tried. Thanks, you made a difference to me.
thank you so much for being so patient and helping others in the community! your a great asset!
Hey man! Thanks a ton for that tip about Gurney's imaginative realism. It has really helped me to see to the "backstage" of picture production!
Hey Jeff! Just wanted to drop by and let you know how inspirational you are and how a great asset you are to this community and to me for helping me understand I needed to study the fundamentals.
I just wanted to drop you a note and say thanks for the advice on the purchase of the James Gourney Books, I have just bought "colour and light" and am halfway through already (turned up at 9:15 this morning) and can see myself reading this another fifteen times or more. The "Imaginative Realism" hasnt landed yet but I cant wait.
I dont know how you do it matey but you seem to have a knack of knowing what I need before I do, have you don ethis sort of thing before.....maybe ha ha ha ha
Thanks again, and all the best to you.
Hey Jeff, the site won't allow me to respond to the Background artist inquiry. It says I have to post at least 10 times before I can...for some reason. Just shoot me an email at email@example.com.
Hi Jeff! I just really wanted to say I appreciate your input in threads and calm manner. :)
Hi Jeff, I was wondering what your best reference is for anatomy? I'm guessing it would be Andrew Loomis - Successful Drawing... my main question is how you personally use books as a reference? The method I seem to use isn't working for me, so I was wondering how experience people like yourself use reference material.
Thanks in advance.
